About Organization chart
In Yomly, an organization chart is an innovative tool that enables you to visualize, plan, and deploy your organization. This tool enables you to create an extensive chart to depict and manage your organization structure and hierarchy.
As this tool is integrated with other features of the platform, you can make changes related to your organization structure in a single place, your organization chart, and automatically implement them across the platform.
Benefits of assigning addresses to the organization units
Addresses are assigned to organizational units, which represent the smallest units for employee segmentation within an organization. This structure allows HR professionals to group similar employees into a single organizational unit, streamlining the management of relevant contractual information in one centralized location.
How to assign addresses to the organization unit
- Create addresses. Read about how to create address from here.
- To do this, go to the organisation chart and edit it. The organisation chart can be accessed from Business / Organisation management / Organisation
- On the edit screen, addresses can be assigned to the organisation unit.
- Click on the "Assign Address" button to get a list of addresses which can be assigned to the OU. Select the intended address from the dropdown.
- On selection of the address, it is plotted on the map and details of the address are displayed for the user's reference.
- Click on the "Add" button to assign a selected address to the OU.
- Once an address is added to the list, it is removed from the dropdown for repeated selection.
- The first address in the OU is set as the default address
- The list has a remove button, click on that to unassign the address from the OU. Once removed, this address becomes available in the dropdown for selection again.
- Users can convert any address into a default address by simply toggling the default button for the intended one.
- The "Save" button is disabled if no address is set as default.
- The Cancel button discards all changes made by the user and restores the organizational unit (OU) to its original state before the edit action begins.
- Click on the address name in the list will move the map focus to that address location and display the most important details of the address.
