Can I restrict managers from viewing the salaries of employees reporting to them?

Yes. You can restrict managers from viewing the salaries of employees reporting to them by setting a permission in your business settings.

Do the following:

1. In the sidebar, in the Business section, click Settings.

   

2. Go to General > Permissions.

   The list of all permissions that you can configure for your business is displayed.

3. In the upper-right corner, click Edit Permissions.

   

4. In the Salaries permission, clear the Managers can see the salaries of their subordinates check box.

   

5. At the bottom of the page, click Save.

   Managers are restricted from viewing salary information of employees reporting to them.
