As a first-time user, you can click the activation link in the welcome email sent to you by your HR team to view the initial login page. As a returning user, you can open your business URL in your browser to navigate to the login page.
Platform admins can configure one or both of the following methods of user authentication for employees in the business:
Simple login
If simple login is configured, you can log in to Yomly by entering your registered email and password.
See the following example:
The registered email of an employee is the one associated with their profile, and is usually their business email.
Setting and changing login passwords
Organizations can either enable employees to set their own passwords, or set up a password for them.
If employees are allowed to set their own password, they can do it when logging in to the platform for the first time (by clicking the activation link in the welcome email).
The ability of employees to change their own passwords also depends on the organization's policies. If employees in your organization have this ability, you can do the following to change your own password:
-
When logging in, click Forgot password?
-
Enter the login email and click Next.
A password reset email is sent to your email.
If employees in your organization do not have this ability, contact your HR team or platform admin to trigger the password reset process for you or set a new password on your behalf.
SSO login
Organizations can set up an SSO integration to authenticate employees using an external IdP, such as Active Directory, and more.
If SSO login is configured, you can log in to Yomly by clicking Login with Federation on the login page.
This redirects you to the login page of the federated identity management service, where you can enter login credentials of the other platform or application.
For example, organizations can enable employees to access Yomly using Microsoft login.
For more information about the IdPs supported in Yomly, see Which external Identity Providers (IdPs) do Yomly support?
