What do "Below Threshold" warnings mean in pay runs?

As a platform or payroll admin, when configuring Payroll settings for your business, you can set up a Payroll warning +/-, which is the permitted margin of variance (in percentage) from the salary threshold.

If the salary of any employee in a pay run is lower than the threshold by more than the margin configured in the Payroll warning +/- field, the Below Threshold warning label is displayed in the generated pay run in the Warnings column. See the following example:

You can complete a pay run and export it as a SIF file even if it displays Below Threshold warnings for one or multiple employees.
