Issue
While creating or running a payrun, the system fails with the error message:
“Maternity Leave preferences need to be set up properly.”
Cause
The system requires maternity leave settings to be configured at the country/location level. If these preferences are missing for the employee’s location, the payrun will fail.
Resolution
Open the affected employee’s profile.
Verify the employee’s location/country.
Configure maternity leave preferences for that country by following the steps in the guide below:
Configure Maternity Leave Limits for Each CountryOnce the configuration is saved, return to the payrun.
Requery the payrun for the affected employee only.
Result
After maternity leave preferences are correctly configured for the employee’s location and the payrun is requeried, the error will be resolved and the payrun will complete successfully.
