Overview
The Letter Request feature is now available on the mobile app. Employees can now request, view, track, and download official HR letters directly from their mobile device, without accessing the web portal.
This enhancement enables employees to manage HR documents conveniently from anywhere using their smartphone.
Note:
On the mobile app, employees can only view and manage their own letter requests.
HR Admins and Division Admins who need to manage requests across the organization (Approve / Reject / Delete) should continue using the web portal.
What’s New
1. View Letter Requests
Employees can view a consolidated list of all their letter requests, including:
- Requests submitted personally
- Requests submitted on their behalf by HR
Each request displays:
- Letter type
- Request date
- Current status
2. View Details & Track Status
Tapping any request opens a detailed view displaying the current status of the request, along with additional information such as the letter type, submission date, relevant notes, and any other details submitted as part of the request. Employees can easily track the progress of their request and check its status at any stage of the process.
3. View Issued Letters
Once a letter request is approved, a View Letter button becomes available on the detail screen.
Employees can view the issued letter directly on their devices.

4. Share & Save Letters
After downloading the letter, employees can:
- Share the document using the device’s native sharing options
- Save the file locally on their device
This makes it easy to send documents to banks, embassies, or other third parties without printing or scanning.
5. Request a New Letter
Employees can raise new letter requests directly from the mobile app by:
- Select a letter template
- Fill in the required details
- Submit the request for HR review and approval

- Employment Confirmation Letter
- NOC
- Other organization-specific templates

Getting Started
The Letter Request feature is available immediately on the latest version of the mobile app (v1.2.0). No additional configuration is required.
For Employees
- Update the app to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the Yomly app → Menu → Letter Requests
- Tap + New to submit a new request, or select an existing request to track its status.
For HR Admins
- All request management activities (Approve / Reject / Delete) continue to remain on the web portal.
- No additional action is required to enable this feature for employees.
