How to reactivate an inactive employee

Follow the steps below to reactivate an inactive employee.

Procedure

  1. Login to the Yomly platform.

  2. Navigate to EMPLOYEES → View.

     
  3.  Use the Status filter to narrow down the inactive employee list.
    • Pending – Employee is joining on a later date
    • Active – Employee is active and working
    • Inactive – Employee has left the company
    • Draft – Employee is under approval process
    • Declined – Employee approval was denied



  4. In the Employee filter, enter at least 3 characters of the inactive employee’s name or email or employeeID and click the Search icon.



  5. Click View beside the employee’s name to open their profile.



  6. Click Edit Profile.
     


  7. Locate the Employment End Date field and clear the date.



  8. Click Save.



✅ Once the above steps are completed, the employee status will be Active again.

  1. Go to Account → Send Welcome to initiate the Welcome Email.
  2. If you receive an error, please raise a ticket to help@yomly.com to create a backend account that will help trigger the Welcome email.
