How to Enable the Pay Category for Leave Encashment

To ensure leave encashment is calculated automatically in Yomly, you will need to enable the Leave Encashment Pay Category.

Follow the steps below to configure it:

 

Procedures

  1. Go to Settings → Payroll → Pay categories

  2. Click Add Pay Category

  3. Select Add Global Pay Category

  4. From the list, choose Leave Encashment V2

  5. Enable

 

 

 

How It Works

  • During the next monthly Payrun, if a staff member has an Approved Leave Encashment Leave Type, the system will:

    • Check the daily rate calculation set for your business.

    • Automatically calculate and display the Leave Encashment amount for the employee.

  • The calculated amount will be visible under the Variable tab in the Payrun.
