Step by Step Guide

  1. Log in to your Yomly account using your dedicated business URL
  2. Go to the MAIN MENU > SETTINGS > CUSTOMIZATION
  3. Select 'Templates'
  4. To add:
    • Click 'Add Template'
    • Enter the name and select the template type
    • Enter a short description
    • Create a template either by using the built in editor or by uploading a .docx file
    • Use template tags to allow that system to auto populate the employee details. (PRO TIP: To copy template tags, make sure that you click the built in editor option first, then click 'Template Tags'. Then select all applicable tags.)
    • Select the audience, if applicable
    • Untick 'Auto Approval' to ensure that any letter request will be sent to the HR Admin for review and approval
    • Click 'Save & Activate'
  5. To edit:
    • Click the template that needs to be updated
    • Click 'Edit Template'
    • Make the necessary changes
    • Save
  6. To delete:
    • Click the template that needs to be deleted
    • Click 'Delete'
