About Leave

Employees in an organization are usually entitled to some amounts of time off. Organizational policies determine the number of days of leave available and methods of administering leave.

For example, some organizations provide their employees with their entire leave entitlement in the beginning of the calendar year, whereas others enable their employees to accrue their leave entitlement on a monthly basis.

Organizations might internally classify leave in different categories, such as annual leave, sick leave, emergency leave, maternity leave, and more, and want to configure different rules for availing of each one.

Yomly provides organizations with a comprehensive leave management system called Leave that can be used by management and HR team to allocate leave, track and approve leave requests, process payroll deductions for unpaid leave, and more.

As an employee, you can use Leave to do the following:

  • View your leave allocation and balance
  • Request leave
  • Cancel or modify your leave requests
  • Gain insights about leave conflicts with team members and view your team's leave calendar
