How to Lock or Unlock an Employee’s Bank Details

You can lock an employee’s bank details to prevent unauthorized or frequent changes, which helps maintain data accuracy in pay run reports and other auditing documents.

If an employee’s bank details are locked and they need to update them, they must submit a request to you (or another team member with similar admin permissions). This request will appear under Pending Letter Requests for your review and action.

 

Procedure

Step 1: Access the Employee Profile

  1. Navigate to EMPLOYEES → View.

  2. On the View Employees page, click the name of the employee whose bank details you want to manage.

Step 2: Go to the Bank Details Tab

  1. In the employee profile, navigate to Salary → Bank Details.

  2. This tab displays the employee’s current bank account information available on the platform.

Step 3: Lock or Unlock Bank Details

  1. To Lock Bank Details

    • In the upper-right corner of the tab, click Lock.

    • The employee’s bank details will now be locked, preventing further edits.

  2. To Unlock Bank Details

    • In the upper-right corner of the tab, click Unlock.

    • The employee’s bank details are now unlocked and can be updated as needed.

✅ Once locked, any update attempt will require admin intervention through a formal request.
