New Feature: Enhanced Automatic Clock-In/Clock-Out via WiFi Connectivity

We're excited to introduce further enhancements to our automatic clock-in/clock-out feature, now with added functionality for new WiFi network detection and seamless transitions between networks. This feature leverages the power of WiFi networks to seamlessly manage your work hours.

How it Works

• Automatic Clock-In: When you're connected to predefined WiFi networks, your location is automatically detected. This location, already stored in our database, is matched with your WiFi network information. If there's a match, you're automatically clocked in, saving you valuable time and effort.
• Clock-Out: If your device disconnects from the predefined WiFi network, our system intelligently detects this change and automatically checks you out. 
• Manual Clock-in/Clock-out: You can also manually clock-in/clock-out by pressing the button which is provided on Dashboard screen. This manual clock-in/clock-out has nothing to do with business preference "Manual".

Scenarios

• New WiFi Network Detection: Our system now intelligently detects when you connect to a new WiFi network or switch from one to another. Based on this detection, the following scenarios occur:

  •  Checked-Out State: If you're already in a checked-out state, the system will automatically check you in to the newly identified address.

  • Checked-In at Same Address: If you're already checked in at the same address, your state remains unchanged, ensuring continuous workflow without interruptions.

  • Checked-In at Different Address: If you're checked in at a different address, the system will:

    • Check you out from the existing address.
    • Check you in to the newly identified address, seamlessly updating your clock-in status.

• WiFi Disconnection Handling: Additionally, our system gracefully manages clock-in/clock-out states when your device disconnects from WiFi:

  • Checked-Out State: If you're already in a checked-out state, the system maintains this state, allowing you to continue without disruption.

  • Checked-In State: If you're currently checked in, the system will:

    • Automatically check you out from the existing address, ensuring accurate time tracking.
