How to troubleshoot Mobile App (Android) (Legacy version)

Main Steps

  1. Uninstall existing Mobile App in your Android device.

  2. Install latest version from Play Store.

  3. Clear Application Mobile Application data and cache.

  4. Clear Android Mobile default browser cookies and cache.

  5. Login to the mobile application.

Uninstall Existing Mobile App:

  1. Locate the existing Mobile App installed.

     

  2. Tap and hold the icon of the Mobile App to show the uninstall/delete option.

    Tap and hold the uninstall/delete option to proceed.

  3. Confirm the uninstall/delete when prompted.

    Wait around 30 seconds for it to be fully uninstalled/deleted before proceeding to the next step.

Install latest version:

  1. Install the Mobile App. (click for Google Play Store link)

     Confirm the application installation if prompted.

     

  2. Wait for the installation to finish.

     Once its fully installed, the button will change to Uninstall and Open

     

Clear the Mobile Application Cache and Data:

  1. Open your mobile phone settings.

     

  2. Search for and open Apps.

     

  3. In Apps, search for and open EmiratesHR.

     

  4. In EmiratesHR app. scroll down and select Storage.

     

     

  5. In Storage, tap "Clear data".

    If prompted, confirm the data clear.

  6. In Storage, tap "Clear cache".

    If prompted, confirm the cache clear.

     

Clear the Mobile's default browser cookies and cache:

  1. Open your mobile phones default browser.

     

  2. Search for and open Settings (of the browser application).

     

  3. In Browser settings, search for and open browsing history option (wording might be different depending on your browser app).

     

  4. Clear browsing cookies and cache and data (wording might be different depending on your browser app).

    If prompted, confirm the data delete.

 

Login to the Mobile App:

  1. Locate the existing Mobile App installed and open it.

     

  2. If you have followed all the steps above properly, it should prompt you with the business URL. (Same image as below.)

     

  3. Input your business URL (you can get this from your HR Admin team, it is usually in YOURCOMPANYNAME.yomly.com format, examples: mcdonalds.yomly.com / ikea.yomly.com).

    Follow the login prompts with your working login credentials and you will be able to successfully login.
