Exciting Updates to Time and Attendance (T&A)

We’ve made key improvements to the Time & Attendance module to enhance usability, control, and user experience.

Feature Enhancements

Redesigned attendance details view

• New Page Layout: Clicking View Attendance Details now opens a full page instead of a pop-up.
• Improved Layout: The page shows a summary of the day's attendance at the top and clock-in/out details at the bottom.

• Edit Functionality: Continues to work as before.
• Delete Confirmation: A confirmation pop-up now appears to prevent accidental deletion

• User Experience Boost: Search filters and pagination settings on the main T&A page will now persist when navigating between views.
• Updated Column Names:
• Clock-in → First Clock-in
• Clock-out → Last Clock-out

Restrict editing of own attendance

• New Permission: Allow self attendance control

• Path: Settings → Customisation → User Interface → Time and Attendance → Business Time and Attendance → Time and Attendance List

• Functionality:

  • When enabled, users can add/edit/delete their own attendance.

  • When disabled, users cannot modify their own data but can still manage others' attendance based on existing permissions.
