Exciting Updates to Time and Attendance (T&A)

We've rolled out several new features and enhancements designed to make managing attendance seamless, accurate, and more intuitive than ever. Here's what's new:

Feature Enhancements

Improved Clock-in & Clock-out Experience

  • Clock-ins now automatically save with precise location details.
  • Clock-outs intelligently pair with relevant clock-in events, ensuring accuracy for employees with standard working patterns.
  • Employees with flexible working patterns benefit from enhanced handling of unmapped clock-ins, making your attendance data more reliable.

Enhanced Attendance Dashboard

  • Get a clear snapshot of your employees' attendance, featuring the first clock-in, last clock-out, and total daily hours worked.

  • Choose how total working hours are calculated: either as the interval between the day's first and last clock events or as the cumulative total of all daily clock-ins and clock-outs.

  • Quickly find attendance records with improved search capabilities and detailed filters.

Tailored Attendance Rules:

  • Businesses can now configure attendance marking for certain group of employees outside their permitted locations.

 

Streamlined Manual Attendance Management

  • HR and administrators can easily manage attendance records (add, edit, delete) with secure role-based access.

Smart Time Zone Recognition

  • Automatic detection of correct time zones based on the location of clock-ins.

  • Web-based attendance captures browser location data.

  • Manual attendance entries now correctly reflect selected addresses for precise time zone mapping.

Important Note: Rest assured, your existing attendance data remains unaffected. Any prior discrepancies in Yomly records will remain unchanged and will require manual correction. This careful approach complies with regulatory standards and ensures accurate payroll processing.

 


UI Changes

  • Simplified Navigation: The Time and Attendance page has removed the " Reports " option. All reports are available under the Reports menu. 

  • Consistent Time Format: Shift break times now consistently display in an easy-to-read "hh:mm" format.


Mobile App Updates

  • Unified Logic: Mobile app attendance aligns perfectly with web-based processes for consistent experiences.

  • Fresh Look: The mobile app sports a brand-new logo.


Document Management Bug Fixes

  • Successfully changing "Document Type" now updates correctly in the mobile app.

  • Resolved issues preventing uploads of template-based documents on both iOS and Android.

  • Fixed the error affecting the saving of Emirates ID details.
