We're excited to announce our latest release that addresses and resolves various bugs on Leave v2.0, Payroll, Expenses & Letter Requests.

Here's what's new:

In this update, you’ll find a range of new features and enhancements designed to elevate your experience.

Feature Description

Custom Availability of Leave Status

Users can now define custom availability statuses for leave types with "Available" or "Unavailable" options and a custom status text field. These statuses are displayed in employee profiles, view employees, dashboard team availability & calendars with changes reflected immediately. Display name changed in the working pattern

The display name "Eligible Overtime" has been changed to "Eligible for Overtime" in the working pattern settings.

Schedules can be actioned from the task page

A schedule submitted for approval will now appear on the "Tasks" page under the "Schedules Approval" tab. In addition to the schedules page, approvers can view details and take action from this tab. 

Once a schedule is published the schedule is available in the "Tasks" to take action

Click on "View Schedule" will redirect the user to the schedule page to view and verify all the shifts and allocations. 

Users can act on the schedule from the scheduler page too and do not have to return to the "Tasks" page. 

Note: Once the schedule reaches the finished state, it will be removed from the tasks page. 

 

Job requisition ID and code added

On the Requisition page, users can now view the Requisition ID and Job Code on both the list and details pages.

Bug Fixes

Bug Description

Leave Accrual Balance Issue

The issue with leave accruals in the balance column has been resolved. Previously, the donut chart accurately displayed the correct balance, but the balance column showed incorrect values. This fix ensures consistency between the donut chart and the balance column, providing users with accurate leave balance information across all displays.

Leave Accruals - Calendar Anniversary Issue

 

The issue where accrual records were incorrectly generated twice a year has been rectified. Accruals will now be correctly based on the employee's joining date, rather than the month's start date, ensuring accurate and consistent accrual record generation.

Employee Draft State Visibility

Resolved an issue where employees in a draft state were incorrectly shown in direct reports during the employee creation process.

Leave Attachment Issue

 

Resolved an issue where attachments were disappearing for multiple sick leave requests, affecting only the sick leave type. Previously, when users applied for sick leave and uploaded documents, these attachments would disappear upon submitting another sick leave request. This fix ensures that uploaded documents are now correctly displayed for each individual leave request, addressing the issue of missing attachments.

Leave Approval History

 

Enhanced visibility into leave approvals now displays the approver's name during the pending state and, upon approval, shows the employee name who processed the request. This improvement provides clear accountability and transparency for users regarding the approval status of their requests.

Plugin Support while downloading the letter requests ​

 

Previously, there was an issue with downloading .doc/.docx format letters where plugin data failed to load and display information. This issue has been resolved, and now plugins correctly load and display data when downloading letters.

Missing employees in the shift schedule employee panel

Previously, not all employees from the permitted audience were visible in the employee panel. This issue has been resolved, and now all available employees from the permitted audience are correctly listed.

Incorrect addition of hours while allocating employees to shift

There was an issue with how working hours were being calculated across weeks, leading to an error when an employee who was fully booked in one week was assigned shifts in the following week. This has now been resolved so that the calculation of working hours is limited to the specific week in question, preventing such errors from occurring.

Leave detection while employee assignment

Previously, an employee's leave was not detected when it overlapped with a shift by just one day at the beginning or end of the leave period. This issue has been fixed, and the system now prompts the user of any applied or approved leave when allocating an employee to a shift.
